What do the terms Aliases, Catch All, Forwarding, Auto Responders mean?

Email Aliases
A non-existant account that will "catch" mail into a real mailbox.
eg: You can create a REAL mailbox called you@your.com and an ALIAS of you called sales. When an email is sent to sales@your.com it will be "caught" by the you account.
Catch All Email Account
A mailbox that will catch all mail that is sent to accounts that do not exist.
eg: If you create a catchall and an email is sent to elvis_the_king@your.com (which is an account that does not exist) it will be "caught" by the catchall account.
Email Forwarding
Mail sent to an account that is setup to forward will be "pushed" into another account.
eg: If you create an account called you@your.com and make it a forwarder to someone@yahoo.com then any email sent to you@your.com will be "pushed" to someone@yahoo.com.
Email Auto Responders
When an email is sent to an account with an autoresponder, the account will automatically send a responce back to the sender. This can be used for a message like "we will get back to you shortly" or "we are on holidays and will be back on xx-xx-xxxx".
